Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has called for decisions on power-sharing and religious representation to be made fairly, without fear or political pressure.
Dogara spoke on Channels Television’s program Sunday Politics, responding to rumors that Vice President Kashim Shettima could be removed as President Bola Tinubu’s running mate ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The former lawmaker, a Christian by birth, emphasized that governance should prioritize inclusion and fairness for all, to build a nation that serves everyone.
