A parish priest of St. Margaret’s Catholic Parish, Tor-Donga, Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State, Very Rev. Fr. Michael Mchia, has constructed a Primary Health Centre to enhance access to basic healthcare services in the community.
The facility, named St. Margaret’s Primary Health Centre, Tor-Donga, is aimed at bringing essential medical care closer to residents, especially the poor and vulnerable who often travel long distances to receive treatment.
Community members described the initiative as timely, noting that it would help reduce healthcare challenges and improve the overall well-being of the people.
The health centre underscores Fr. Mchia’s commitment to humanitarian service and complements government efforts to strengthen primary healthcare delivery in rural areas.
Residents offered prayers for the priest, asking God to grant him good health, strength, and the resources to continue his service to humanity and the church.
