Gigi, the ex-girlfriend of popular streamer Kai Cenat, has responded to the viral clip showing her making repeated luxury demands during their relationship.
Addressing the backlash, Gigi insisted that her taste for expensive gifts didn’t start with Kai — it was already her lifestyle.
“Before Kai, I was getting sht. I been had sht… How will I get in a relationship with someone and not get the sh*t I was already getting?”
She went on to describe her upbringing, revealing she was exposed to luxury from a very young age.
“Y’all don’t wanna know the type of cars I was asking for for my sweet 16. I was a 16-year-old driving a Benz. At 14, 15, I was driving my parents’ luxury cars to school.”
According to her, being in a relationship shouldn’t mean lowering her standards.
“Before Kai, I have been getting sh*t and it has been going on. So why will I be in a relationship with someone I can’t want the things I have been getting before I was with him?”
She also hinted that while they may no longer be officially together, things between them aren’t completely over.
“We are not together, but sh*t is still going on.”
