The Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has firmly stated that no amount of money — not even $1 billion — can lure him into politics.
Speaking during the impartation service at Shiloh 2025, the cleric emphasized that partisan politics is completely outside his divine assignment, urging believers to stay faithful to their God-given purpose.
Recalling events from 2015, Bishop Oyedepo said he had earlier warned the church about looming national challenges, many of which later came to pass. According to him, true influence is not found in political office but in operating within one’s calling.
“The world is in deep darkness and urgently needs divine intervention,” he said, referencing Romans 8:19, noting that creation awaits the manifestation of the children of God.
Oyedepo added that God’s end-time army will rise to provide solutions to national problems, just as biblical figures like Joseph and Daniel did in their generations.
