Tinubu japa because home is not conducive - Peter Obi

In his statement, Peter Obi expresses concern over the Nigerian President's frequent foreign travels, which he sees as a sign of detachment from the country's severe problems.

Obi highlights the President's recent trips, including one for a "holiday" just six days after returning from a prolonged overseas engagement.

He contrasts this with the urgent crises facing Nigeria, such as widespread food insecurity, poor life expectancy, and a high infant mortality rate.

Obi also points to the escalating security issues, citing recent mass killings and kidnappings in Katsina and a boat mishap in Niger State.

He criticizes the President for not visiting these grieving communities upon his return, questioning the lack of compassion and leadership.

Obi concludes by stating that no holiday is more important than the lives of Nigerians, arguing that true leadership requires presence, empathy, and a commitment to solving the nation's critical challenges in security, healthcare, education, and poverty.
