The whereabouts of Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, remain unknown amid speculations about his possible return to Port Harcourt.
Arise Television correspondent in Rivers State, Friday Olokor, who gave an update on the situation during the Morning Show programme, said the state remains calm despite political tensions.
The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Rear Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas officially handed over to the reinstated Governor of the State, Sim Fubara.
In his final state-wide broadcast, Ibas urged the people of the state to support Fubara as he resumes his duties of leading the state.
Recall that President Bola Tinubu had suspended Fubara six months ago while declaring an emergency rule in Rivers State.
However, the president lifted the emergency rule on Wednesday while reinstating Fubara.
