OLORI ROMOKE EMPOWERING FOUNDATION, today, August 22nd, 2025, celebrated a remarkable achievement as over 200 beneficiaries across Owo Local Government, successfully graduated from the Free Skills Acquisition Program, an initiative of Olori Romoke Mujidat DARAMOLA, the Yeyeluwa of IPELE Kingdom.
At the programme organized to mark the graduation ceremony of participants, exhibition/display, inspection of products, presentation of certificates, Olori Romoke DARAMOLA, admonished the participants to make good use of this golden opportunity.
According to Olori DARAMOLA, "this impactful program is aimed at equipping participants with essential vocational and entrepreneurial skills to foster self-reliance and economic growth.
"I congratulated and commended the participants for their dedication and perseverance throughout the program, i encouraged you to embrace entrepreneurship and drive progress within Ipele community, Owo Local Government and Ondo State at large. Skill acquisition is a powerful tool for combating unemployment and poverty.
"Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for each of you. The skills you have acquired in Barbing, Beads Making, Tie and Dye, Makeup & Gele styling, Event Decorations, Cakes and Snacks, I urge you to use them wisely, create opportunities for yourselves, and contribute to the development of our great communities."
She, expressed her deep appreciation to all the team members, and the instructors for a job weldon.
A major highlight of the event was the moment of pure joy when the graduands, overwhelmed with gratitude, burst into song and dance to celebrate the unwavering support of the Yeyeluwa of IPELE Kingdom.
The participants confidently showcased their handmade creations and demonstrated their newly acquired skills, proving their readiness to become successful entrepreneurs.
The event concluded with the official presentation of certificates to the beneficiaries.
