The National Vice President of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO) Alumni Association, Prince (Rotn) Bankole Adeyefa, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected executives of the association’s Owo, Ikare, and Ado-Ekiti chapters.
In a statement issued on Friday, Prince Bankole commended the emergence of the new leaders and emphasized the importance of their roles in advancing the collective vision of the Alumni body. The statement was issued on behalf of the Worldwide President of the association, Engr. Chief Adesina Adeola.
Using the elected Chairmen—Comrades Akeredolu Adebisi (Owo), Balogun Afolabi (Ikare), and Oniye Felix (Ado-Ekiti)—as points of contact, Prince Bankole described their emergence as a call to service.
“On behalf of the Worldwide President of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO) Alumni Association, Engr. Chief Adesina Adeola, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected executives of Owo, Ikare, and Ado-Ekiti RUGIPO Alumni chapters,” the statement read.
“While I felicitate with you on your emergence in the election, I urge you to see this new responsibility as a call to diligently serve members of our Alumni body in your various chapters, and to contribute meaningfully to the overall growth and development of the RUGIPO Alumni Association in alignment with the vision of our Worldwide President.”
He further emphasized the importance of unity among the newly elected leaders, describing it as a necessary ingredient for administrative success.
“Let me also state in passing that unity is paramount to the success of your administration. Therefore, everyone must be on board and work collectively. It is crucial to promote unity and cooperation among members,” he added.
He concluded the statement by wishing the new executives a productive and impactful tenure in office, and reaffirmed his support for their leadership.
