As reactions continue to trail the ₦2.5 billion donation to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) by the Edo State Government, the Coalition of Registered Political Parties (CRPP) has cautioned Governor Monday Okpebholo against acting like a “Father Christmas” to the Federal Government while the state still grapples with pressing infrastructural needs.
The group, in a statement, urged the governor to prioritise critical projects within Edo State, stressing that citizens expect visible development in roads, schools, healthcare facilities, and other essential sectors before extending largesse to federal institutions
