All items st0len by a notorious Lagos thief who r0bbed guests at the Oriental Hotel have been recovered less than 24 hours after his photograph and CCTV footage went viral on social media.
An event planner who was among the victims, announced the recovery of her belongings in a post on Thursday evening.
She had earlier raised the alarm over the theft, but later confirmed that all her items had been recovered.
“Every item has been recovered; even tho he formatted the files it can still be retrieved back,” she wrote.
She also thanked everyone who helped during the search, saying, “A big thank you to everyone who came through to help out. God bless you.”
However, no details had been provided about the suspect’s whereabouts as of the time of filing this report.
Earlier on Thursday, Peoples Gazette reported that the suspect, described as a notorious Lagos th!ef, had returned to ste@ling at public events about a decade after he first went viral on social media for a similar offence.
His latest r0bbery at the Oriental Hotel sparked public reactions after CCTV footage showing his face and movements circulated online. Some people who claimed to have been r0bbed by him in previous years also shared their experiences.
