A Nigerian lady identified as @tall_chilizzy on X (formerly Twitter) has recounted how missing her flight to Lagos led to a seven-hour phone conversation with a man she was getting to know.
According to her, the incident began when she overslept and missed her scheduled flight.
Lady pays ₦80,000 to reschedule flight
The lady said she contacted her talking stage to inform him about the missed flight. She explained that the airline required her to pay ₦80,000 to reschedule her journey for the following day.
After about an hour of discussion, the man reportedly agreed to pay the rescheduling fee.
She added that she did not eat throughout the day and remained on the phone with him for seven hours as he advised and scolded her over the incident.
Recounting the experience, she said:
“Throughout that day, I didn’t eat. He was advising me, talking to me, scolding me, and I was on the phone with him for 7 hours straight.”
