Shola Ogudu Reveals She Was Four Months Pregnant With Wizkid’s Son Before Discovering It

Shola Ogudu, the mother of Wizkid’s first son, Boluwatife Balogun, popularly known as Champz, has revealed that she was already about four months pr3gnant before discovering her pr3gnancy.

Ogudu made the revelation during a past appearance on Maria Chike’s Mum Next Door podcast, where she opened up about her experience of becoming a mother while still in university.

According to the entrepreneur, she was in her final year at university when she became pr3gnant but experienced little to no symptoms, allowing her to continue attending classes without realizing she was expecting a child.

“I had my baby pretty early, I was in a university, my final year. I was pr3gnant for four months to be honest. I didn’t know I was pr3gnant until I was five months gone,” she recalled.

She explained that her parents were particularly concerned about her completing her education, a goal she ultimately achieved with good grades.

Ogudu also revealed that she continued her studies in the Benin Republic and travelled back and forth during the pr3gnancy. She only stopped travelling when she was more than eight months pr3gnant.

Despite the challenges of navigating pr3gnancy and early motherhood while studying, Ogudu successfully completed her university education.

Boluwatife, born in May 2011, is Wizkid’s eldest child. He has since developed an interest in music and is known professionally as Champz.
