Wealthy British-Nigerian businessman and influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, also known as Denisi or Ego, has died at the age of 43 after undergoing a penis-enlargement procedure during a luxury trip to Thailand with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen.
According to evidence presented at an inquest at Inner West London Coroners’ Court, Igho had 40ml of hyaluronic ac!d and lidocaine injected into his pen!s at an unnamed clinic in Thailand in March.
The cosmetic procedure was later l!nked to a fatal pulmonary emb0lism.
Following the tr3atment, Igho and his wife reportedly returned to their Marriott hotel in Bangkok, where they went for a massage. He later complained of ch£st pa!n and reportedly coll÷psed twice before being rvshed to Sukhumvit H0spital.
Although he was initially consc!ous, his cond!tion deter!orated and he subsequently l0st consc!ousness before a recommended CT scan could be carried out.
Doctors diagn0sed him with a pulm0nary emb0lism and transferred him to int3nsive care. Med!cal personnel reportedly performed CPR for more than 100 minutes in an attempt to rev!ve him, but he d!3d in the early hours of March 6.
A postm0rtem exam!nation conducted in the United Kingdom later found cellvlar material in his lvngs that matched the hyalvronic ac!d used during the co$metic procedure.
Following the ev!dence presented at the inquest, Coroner Jean Harkin concluded that the cosmetic tr3atment had cavsed the pulmonary emb0lism that ult!mately l3d to Igho Ubiribo’s d£÷th.
The case highlights the pot3ntially serious ri$ks assoc!ated with cosmetic procedures, particularly when performed outside regulated med!cal settings.
