ABUJA, Nigeria – The OK Movement has appointed former Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Peter Ameh, as its National Director General ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The movement announced Ameh's appointment in a statement published on its verified X handle on Monday, describing him as an experienced political leader with vast knowledge of politics, leadership and nation-building.
The group expressed confidence that Ameh would provide the strategic direction needed to strengthen the movement and help drive its political objectives ahead of the 2027 elections.
The appointment follows the recent selection of Sam Amadi, Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thought, as Head of the Movement's Advisory Council.
The OK Movement is a political group comprising supporters of Peter Obi and his running mate, Rabi'u Kwankwaso.
