Popular media personality Rufai Oseni has sparked conversation with a strong reflection on Nigeria’s historical role in Africa and its present-day struggles.
Speaking critically, Rufai referenced Nigeria’s significant financial and diplomatic contributions to the anti-apartheid movement in South Africa, contrasting it with the treatment some Nigerians face abroad today.
“This was the same country that spent over 60 billion dollars cumulatively to liberate South Africa. Those ones are now pushing us and saying ‘go back to your country’ today… Why is it that we cannot do it for ourselves?” He said
