A woman identified as Madam Catherine Ngeh has survived a devastating landslide that struck Aduk, Fundong Subdivision in the North West Region following heavy rainfall.
Reports indicate that the incident occurred while she was inside her home. The landslide buried part of the house and covered much of the surrounding compound, leaving her trapped beneath the debris. Against all expectations, she was pulled out alive in what many residents have described as a miraculous survival.
The disaster caused extensive damage, destroying farmlands and severely affecting her compound. Although the destruction was significant, Madam Catherine Ngeh escaped with her life, bringing hope amid the tragedy.
As heavy rains continue to threaten several communities, residents are urging people living in landslide-prone areas to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions. The community has also expressed gratitude for her survival while offering prayers for everyone affected by the recent weather conditions.
