FRSC Recruitment 2026 – Application Requirements

 

Applicants are advised to carefully review the eligibility requirements for each cadre before commencing their application.

1. Road Marshal Assistant (RMA) Cadre

Road Marshal Assistant II (RMA II)

Qualification:

 • Minimum of Five (5) Credits in SSCE/GCE (WAEC, NECO or NABTEB), including English Language and Mathematics.

Road Marshal Assistant III (RMA III)

Qualification:

 • Minimum of Three (3) Credits in SSCE (WAEC/NECO) or NABTEB, with English Language as one of the credited subjects.

Artisans and Tradesmen

Applicants in the following trades may apply under this category:

 • Computer Operators

 • Drivers

 • Mechanics

 • Motorcycle Riders

 • Electricians

 • Instrumentalists

 • Tailors

 • Plumbers

 • Other relevant trades

Requirements:

 • Minimum of Four (4) Passes in SSCE (WAEC/NECO) or NABTEB.

 • Valid Trade Test Certificate and/or other relevant Professional Certificate.

 • Drivers and Motorcycle Riders must possess the appropriate class of valid National Driver’s Licence.

Drivers and Motorcycle Riders

Applicants must possess:

 • Appropriate class of valid National Driver’s Licence.

 • Trade Test and/or relevant Professional Certificate.

 • Evidence of attempted SSCE/GCE (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB).

2. Marshal Inspector (MI) Cadre

Marshal Inspector I (MI I)

Applicants must possess any of the following professional qualifications from recognized institutions:

 • Registered Nurse (RN)

 • Registered Midwife (RM)

 • RN/RM (Double Qualification)

 • Accident & Emergency Nursing

 • Pediatric Nursing

 • Anesthetic Nursing

 • Orthopedic Nursing

 • Radiography

Marshal Inspector II (MI II)

Applicants must possess:

 • Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) in a relevant discipline; or

 • Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife (RN/RM).

 • Statement of Result must not be more than Five (5) Years old.

Marshal Inspector III (MI III)

Applicants must possess any of the following from recognized institutions:

 • National Diploma (ND)

 • Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) Certificate

 • Medical Laboratory Technician Certificate

 • Pharmacy Technician Certificate

 • Dental Technician Certificate

3. Officer Cadre

Qualification

Applicants must possess:

 • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognized institution.

 • NYSC Discharge Certificate or Certificate of Exemption.

4. Officer (MBBS) Cadre

Qualification

Applicants must possess:

 • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from a recognized institution.

 • NYSC Discharge Certificate.
