At 30, I No Longer Believe Love Is About Finding the 'Right Person' — BBN's Sheggz

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Sheggz has shared how his perspective on love has shifted over the years, admitting he no longer believes in the idea of finding the perfect person.

"At 30, I don't believe that anymore. I've had relationships that looked amazing on the outside, and I've had relationships that completely humbled me. But every single one taught me something," he said.

He explained that love doesn't just reveal the other person it also exposes your own ego, communication style, insecurities, patience, and the parts of yourself you thought were fine but need work.

He also noted that his view of an ideal relationship has changed.

"I used to think the best relationships were with people that didn't challenge me. But now I've realized that the best relationships are the ones that challenge you to be the best version of yourself, constantly."

These days, Sheggz said he values consistency over chemistry.

"Can we communicate when we're upset? Can we take accountability when we're wrong? Can we protect each other's peace instead of just trying to prove that you're right or I'm right?"

He concluded: "I don't think love is finding somebody that's perfect. I think love is two imperfect people coming together to grow, respect each other, and build something special together."
