According to a video posted on YouTube by Talk To B on Friday, May 22, 2026, popular Yoruba actress Adeola Yusuf Kafirat Omashalewa, widely known as Basira Beere, has opened up on what she described as painful and emotionally draining experiences in her marriage, including alleged infidelity and distress during her pregnancy period.
In the interview, the actress painted a picture of a troubled home life, alleging that while she was pregnant and confined mostly to the house, her husband was engaging in sexual conversations with other women online.
She said the situation became even more disturbing after she accidentally uncovered explicit material on a device she believed was no longer in use.
Basira Beere explained that the discovery happened unexpectedly when she came across an abandoned phone at home, which she thought she could repurpose after it was left behind due to damage.
Recounting how the incident unfolded, she said: “My husband will be having sex chat with other women while I was at home pregnant.” She further narrated how curiosity and coincidence led her into deeper discovery after she gained access to the device, describing a moment she says changed her perception of her marriage.
According to her, the phone had been left behind after it was believed to be completely broken, but it later became the source of revelations she did not anticipate.
She explained the moment in detail, saying: “His phone was bad at a time, and he thought it was completely damaged. So he left it in the house. I was cleaning the house one day and I saw it. I pressed the password and it opened so I inserted my SIM card with the mind that I will start using it. I took a picture with the phone, and I wanted to upload it then I saw what my eyes shouldn't have seen.”
