A Nigerian woman has stirred reactions online after recounting a funny childhood experience involving strict parenting, skipping school, and an unexpected church deliverance session.
According to her, the drama started when her father allegedly saw her hanging out with friends during school hours on a weekday.
After realizing she had been spotted, she quickly returned to school before later going home with her sisters in an attempt to avoid suspicion.
The woman explained that although she repeatedly denied being outside during school hours, her father remained certain that he had seen her.
Her sisters, who had no idea she had earlier sneaked out, defended her since they all arrived home together.
She added that the situation eventually made her parents believe she needed spiritual deliverance, as they felt she had a “ly!ng sp!rit” and a “$3duct!ve spir!t” after she developed physically at a young age.
In her words, she recounted:
“My father caught me somewhere with my friends on a school day during school hours. He looked at me and passed. I knew I was d3ad.”
“I remember they cooked jollof rice that day. Around 4pm, I told myself to just agree that I was a w!tch so they could let me go home and eat,” she added.
