USA and Israel Launch Pre-Emptive Strike on Iran as Middle East Tensions Escalate

Fresh tensions have erupted in the Middle East following reports that Israel has launched what it described as a pre-emptive military strike against Iran, with coordination from the United States.

Israel’s Defence Minister, Israel Katz, confirmed the development, stating that the operation was aimed at neutralising threats to Israel’s national security.

According to Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency, multiple explosions were heard in the north and east of Tehran, as well as in the cities of Isfahan, Karaj, and Kermanshah. Residents reportedly observed plumes of smoke rising from targeted locations, although the full extent of the damage and any casualties remains unclear at this time.

Reports indicate that the United States is coordinating with Israel in the strikes, marking a significant escalation in regional hostilities and raising fears of a broader confrontation.

In response to the unfolding situation, Iranian authorities have reportedly advised citizens to leave several neighbouring countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Jordan, citing increasing security concerns.

The development has heightened fears of a wider regional conflict, with analysts warning that the Middle East could be on the brink of a major escalation if retaliatory actions follow.

Global leaders are closely monitoring the situation, and diplomatic efforts are expected to intensify in the coming days to prevent further deterioration.
