North Korea Condemns Israel’s Actions Against Iran, Calls for Immediate Halt

The government of North Korea has strongly condemned Israel’s military actions against Iran, describing the strikes as destabilising and a threat to regional peace.

According to statements carried by North Korean state-aligned media, Pyongyang criticised what it termed “aggressive actions” against Iran and accused the United States of contributing to escalating tensions in the Middle East through its support for Israel.

While there is no confirmation of a fresh diplomatic directive, North Korea has maintained a consistent position in previous statements, urging an immediate halt to what it characterises as hostile military operations against Tehran.

The development comes amid rising tensions following reported pre-emptive strikes on Iranian targets, with explosions earlier reported in Tehran and other major cities. Global attention has since shifted toward potential retaliatory actions and the risk of a broader regional conflict.

Analysts note that North Korea and Iran have maintained diplomatic ties over the years, often aligning rhetorically in opposition to Western influence in global affairs.

As the situation continues to unfold, international observers are closely monitoring reactions from major world powers, amid growing concerns that the Middle East may face further instability if diplomatic efforts fail.
