A member of the PDP and Obidient Movement, Dickson Iroegbu, has accused the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, of believing he is more powerful than President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Iroegbu made this claim during an interview on Prime Time on Arise Television.
According to him, the ruling APC, with the support of the Tinubu-led government, gave Wike the power and space to weaken the PDP. He said Wike has now used that power in a way that threatens Nigeria’s democracy.
Iroegbu claimed that after almost destroying the PDP, Wike now acts as if nobody, including the President, can control what happens in Rivers State.
He also pointed to statements made by Wike during meetings with his supporters, where he allegedly said no one can decide affairs in Rivers State.
Iroegbu added that Wike has become “larger than life” under the current administration and expressed hope that the political fight will allow Nigerians to reclaim their country.
