Tinubu’s Administration Has Improved the Lives of Igbos — APC Leader, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu

The National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South East, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, has said the administration of President Bola Tinubu has improved the lives of people in the region, particularly in commerce, manufacturing and security.

Speaking during an interview on Arise Television on Monday, Arodiogbu said the Tinubu administration has created an enabling environment that supports the business-oriented nature of the Igbo people. He made the remarks while reacting to a recent APC stakeholders’ meeting held in Enugu to mobilise support for Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

According to him, the APC leadership in the South East assessed the welfare of their people and concluded that there have been notable improvements under the current government. He described Igbos as hardworking, smart and entrepreneurial, noting that they thrive best when policies support commerce and manufacturing.

Arodiogbu cited examples of individuals in pharmaceuticals and agriculture who, he said, have received unprecedented encouragement from the federal government. He noted that business owners in these sectors told him they were experiencing levels of support they had not seen under previous administrations.

He also highlighted improvements in security across the region, saying residents were able to travel home freely during the Christmas period without incidents previously attributed to political opponents. He added that the Enugu meeting was not limited to APC leaders but included traditional rulers and trade union representatives as part of broader consultations with stakeholders in the region.
