Rivers State Governor, His Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara, made his first public appearance at the meeting of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) held in Abuja.
The meeting was attended by governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from across the federation.
Akwa Ibom State Governor, His Excellency Pastor Umo Eno, PhD, was also present and was seen in the company of fellow APC governors during the high-level engagement.
Governor Fubara’s presence at the forum attracted attention, as it marked a significant moment in the evolving political dynamics at the sub national level.
The gathering provided an opportunity for governors to deliberate on issues of national importance, party cohesion, governance, and strategies aimed at deepening development and stability across states governed by the APC.
Discussions at the meeting reportedly focused on economic reforms, security challenges, infrastructure development, and collaboration between states and the Federal Government.
The forum reaffirmed the governors’ collective commitment to good governance, unity, and policies that promote inclusive growth and national progress.
