Today around 3pm, a man named Segun Martins gained unauthorized access to the wheel well of an Overland Airways plane that was preparing for departure, seeking to hide among the landing gear.
Security personnel on the ground promptly apprehend the man and transferred him to the Airport Police for a detailed inquiry.
Segun Martins claimed he thought the airplane was destined for the United States and planned to stow away on the flight.
Authorities are presently conducting an investigation into this serious event.
