Primate Elijah Ayodele, the Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has ignited yet another public discussion by issuing a stern warning to Nigeria’s political figures, especially governors, regarding their alleged corruption and the dire repercussions he believes will follow.
In a recent video posted on his official Facebook page, he spoke passionately about governance, accountability, and the uncertain futures of those currently in political roles. He reiterated a long-held prophecy, stating that not all sitting governors are likely to complete their terms—a prediction many Nigerians initially dismissed.
Primate Ayodele asserts that current political developments will ultimately confirm his predictions. He urged governors to seek divine help, warning that no amount of political power or influence would be capable of hiding the truth forever. He made it clear that efforts to cover up corruption would ultimately fail. He stated, “When we say that not all those corrupt governors will finish their terms, many do not believe; they should all pray, because even if they protect a governor now, he will still be revealed.” He insisted that corruption within the political realm cannot be concealed indefinitely.
The cleric also connected the destinies of state governors to the stability of the federal leadership, suggesting that a major shift in power could lead to serious legal repercussions for many governors. He emphasized that corrupt practices within the government are deeply rooted and currently sustained by political protection, warning that once this protection is lifted, the extent of corruption will be exposed. He stated, “Corruption surrounding this government will come to light if they remove power from Tinubu. All the governors will face jail time; they will be exposed.”
