Former Labour Party chieftain and actor Kenneth Okonkwo has cautioned that Peter Obi would suffer a humiliating defeat at his own polling unit if he contests the 2027 presidential election without a strategic alliance.
Speaking during an X (formerly Twitter) Space, Okonkwo warned supporters of the Obidient movement that emotional appeal alone would not defeat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He argued that Nigeria’s current political arithmetic favours a northern candidate, insisting that only a strong northern-backed coalition can realistically unseat Tinubu in the next general election.
