Ejimakor Says Nnamdi Kanu Is Staying Strong in Sokoto Prison

Aloy Ejimakor, the special counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, has shared an update on how the IPOB leader is coping in prison in Sokoto State.

After visiting Kanu, Ejimakor posted on X that Kanu is staying strong and thankful to everyone supporting him. He compared Kanu’s situation to Nelson Mandela, saying Mandela endured years in Robben Island prison, and Kanu is also enduring his stay in Sokoto with strength and courage.

Ejimakor visited Kanu together with his wife, Uchechi, and his brother, Prince.

Nnamdi Kanu was transferred to the Sokoto custodial centre after a court judgment by Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja, where Kanu was sentenced to life imprisonment on terrorism-related charges.
