The Teachers’ Service Commission is conducting a statewide recruitment exercise for qualified teachers in public secondary schools. The recruitment prioritizes specific subject areas based on manpower needs assessments.
Key Subject Categories:
Category A – Core Priority Subjects: Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and History.
Category B – Essential Support Subjects: Geography, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Political Science/International Relations, Civic Education, Literature-in-English, Psychology, Computer Studies / ICT, Business Administration, and Accounting / Financial Accounting.
Category C – Technical and Vocational Subjects: Agricultural Science, Basic Science / Integrated Science, Basic Technology, Technical Drawing, Home Economics, Business Studies / Commerce, Fine Arts / Creative Arts, and Physical and Health Education (PHE).
Category D – Religious, Moral, and Personal Development Subjects: Christian Religious Studies (CRS), Islamic Religious Studies (IRS), Social Studies, Guidance and Counselling, and Cultural and Creative Arts.
Eligibility Requirements:
1. Educational Qualification: Minimum of National Certificate in Education (NCE); holders of higher qualifications (B.Ed, B.A, B.A (Ed), B.Sc., B.Sc (Ed), HND or PGDE) are also eligible.
2. Professional Certification: Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is an added advantage.
3. Documentation: Valid copies of Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age, Academic Certificates or Statements of Result, Certificate of Origin, NYSC discharge or exemption certificate (for degree holders), and National Identification Number (NIN) are required.
4. Character and Health: Applicants must be of good character and physically and mentally fit.

The portal will be active from October 16th to October 22nd, 2025.
Submission of false information or multiple applications will lead to automatic disqualification. Applications are free and strictly online.
