Young Nigerian striker Blessing Owolabi Kenya has made headlines after scoring an incredible 30 goals in 24 matches in the 2025 Kazakhstan Women’s Football League.
The 19-year-old, who started her career at Nakamura Football Academy in Lagos, began the season with Biik Kazygurt, where she scored 22 goals in 12 games before moving on loan to Tumiris Turan.
At Tumiris Turan, she added 8 more goals and also recorded 20 assists showing her all-round attacking quality.
Speaking to journalists, Blessing said her success comes from discipline and hard work, while also giving credit to her grassroots coach, Rotimi Vianney Ronaldo, for guiding her career.
“Discipline changed my game. My coach’s advice helped me stay focused and hungry for goals,” she said.
