The police in the Ekiti State have arraigned two persons, Ogunmola Damilola (32) and Durodola Samuel (22), before the Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Ado-Ekiti over an alleged stealing.
The prosecutor, Inspector Akinwale Oriyomi, told the court that the defendants, on September 9 at about 2pm in Ayetoro-Ekiti within the Ido-Ekiti Magisterial District, stole a pumping machine valued at N120,000, the property of Dada Ojo.
Inspector Oriyomi said the offence is punishable under Sections 421 and 302(a) of the Criminal Law of Ekiti State,
2021.
Counsel to the defendants, Barrister Adegolaju Ayobioloja, urged the court to admit his clients to bail.
The Chief Magistrate, Mr. Abayomi
Adeosun, granted them bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety.
The case was adjourned until November 10, for hearing.
