To tackle child hunger, alleviate poverty, and boost school enrollment, Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has initiated a new pilot school feeding program designed to revolutionize education access throughout the state.
The initiative is in close alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda.
This achievement was made possible by Dr. Yetunde Adeniji, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on School Feeding (OSSAP-SF), who has led efforts in promoting inclusive policies for vulnerable children across the country.
"This program goes beyond just feeding children—it's about restoring dignity, enhancing access to education, and combating poverty," Governor Lawal stated.
We take pride in collaborating with visionary leaders such as Dr. Yetunde Adeniji to fulfill our mutual commitment.
The initiative is being carried out with the support of major development organizations, such as the World Bank (AGILE), UNICEF, the International Center for Economic Development (ICED), and FINPACT Development Foundation.
