On Saturday, Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), criticized activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju for his remarks about the minister.
Olayinka claimed that Adeyanju intends to misappropriate coalition funds in the same way he allegedly did with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) social media campaign money back in 2015.
He made this remark in response to Adeyanju's call for former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, to tolerate criticism directed at Wike after the FCT Minister recently took jabs at his previous political ally.
Wike and Amaechi have recently been at odds, exchanging a series of accusations and counter-accusations.
Upset by Wike's explosive interview last night, Adeyanju shared on X: "Coalition members should leave dealing with Wike and his stagnant PDP to me. Amaechi is far too significant to engage in exchanges with Wike. Please, let me handle him while they focus on more pressing issues."
In response, Olayinka shared on X: "An unfounded online lawyer, who got a woman he met in Keffi, Nasarawa State pregnant and then abandoned both her and their son after she gave birth to a boy, will also have something to say about Kolision."
"He plans to be on social media, speculating about human rice and beans. The Sosu Media lawyer is even pleading to handle Wike personally, aiming to profit from the Kolision funds just as he did with the PDP's social media campaign money in 2015."
A person who left his own son and the child's mother for the wealth of another woman he married when he was over 40 years old.
"May Ariyo Atoye's soul rest in peace. He was a true friend who could not stand by while his friend's mother and child suffered."
