The Coroner's Court investigating the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, has concluded that there was no foul play or homicide involved.
Magistrate Adedayo Shotobi, who presented her findings on Friday at the Ikorodu Magistrate Court in Lagos, concluded that the auxiliary nurse's actions were both "unlawful and professionally negligent."
The coroner suggested that nurse Feyisayo Ogedengbe should face criminal charges for medical negligence or misadventure due to administering an injection to the singer without a doctor's prescription.

Magistrate Shotobi stated that, in accordance with section 29 of the coroner laws of Lagos State, this court advises the prosecution by the Director of Public Prosecution's office against Felicia Ogedengbe for practicing medicine without a license and exhibiting gross negligence.
Other findings by the Coroner suggested that Mohbad’s complaints to the police regarding assault, intimidation, and other issues involving Naira Marley and Sam Larry should undergo a thorough investigation in light of revelations made during the coroner proceedings.
The coroner also held Mohbad's father accountable for the rapid burial of the deceased, without first requesting an autopsy.
Mohbad's wife was criticized for providing treatment at home instead of taking him to the hospital immediately for professional medical care.
It was noted that social media portrayals of the incident by influencers and content creators allegedly misrepresented facts about the ongoing coroner proceedings, compromising the court's integrity.
The coroner's findings also included additional recommendations for enhancing service delivery and quality within the country's healthcare system, as well as improving law enforcement agencies' responses to ensure public safety.
