Zainab, the daughter of Buba Galadima who is a chieftain in the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has suggested that President Bola Tinubu might receive just 30 percent of Northern votes in the 2027 presidential election.
During an appearance on the Mic On podcast with Seun Okinbaloye, Zainab cautioned that the 2027 election would represent Tinubu's most challenging political contest to date.
She mentioned that it's really bad, suggesting Tinubu might receive only about 30 percent or even less. She believes it could be worse than the 2023 election.
Regarding Tinubu's prospects in the 2027 election, Zainab commented, "It will be the most challenging battle he has ever faced."
"It's going to be the toughest challenge yet because, although I don't fully grasp what this coalition is doing, it's clear to anyone observing them that we need to step up our efforts."
The coalition, consisting of prominent Nigerians, is committed to ousting Tinubu from power in 2027.
Last week, the coalition integrated the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and appointed key leaders as it strategizes to take over power from Tinubu.
