BAO’s mandate is indeed divine, and by every indication, that divine stamp is reaffirmed daily by the people, not just in words but in action.
You can feel it in the pulse of the streets. You can hear it in the songs of farmers and market women. But yesterday, you could literally touch it in the atmosphere, because the endorsement moved from the streets to the altar.
The Ekiti Women Health Providers, also known as BAO’s Praise Army, turned what would have been a typical endorsement into a spiritual convocation at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Life Gate Cathedral, Adehun, Adebayo, Ado-Ekiti.
Beyond endorsing the governor for second term, they prayed with conviction, they worshipped in gratitude, and offered praises in unity for the victory ahead.
Pastor Mrs Toyosi Omope represented Governor Oyebanji at the event .
Commissioner for Environment, Erelu Tosin Aluko ,Kabiesi Onisan and his Olori were present as well as men and women of God . SSA Labour Matters , NLC Chairman Pharm. Kolapo and JNC Chairman,Comr. Ajoloko and other notable labour leaders were present .
When we say Ekiti isn’t just endorsing BAO for fun, hear it from the lips of their coordinator, Pastor Mrs. Tayo Bade- Gboyega JP:
“It has been a long struggle, 12 years of waiting, for Local Government health workers battling with pay disparity. From 65% to 90% and now, 100% implementation under Governor Oyebanji. God has used the People’s Governor to bridge the gap. With free healthcare for pregnant mothers and infants, with medical infrastructures being upgraded across the state, what more can we give him but our support for continuation of the good work? Today’s gathering is our altar of thanksgiving, and our song is in anticipation of victory in 2026.”
This was no ordinary endorsement. It was a sacred moment, a Divine Endorsement wrapped in Exceeding Praises and Prayers. For a Governor who has consistently placed the people at the center of governance, today’s spiritual affirmation was proof that leadership rooted in service is never ignored by heaven… or the people.
And if anyone still doubts BAO’s mandate, perhaps it’s time to check again, not with the headlines, but with the hearts of Ekiti people.
