A Nigerian woman has generated outrage online after revealing an alleged unpleasant encounter with a man she refers to as her talking stage.
In a famous TikTok video, she stated that a man she described as her talking stage phoned her one morning and offered her on a date, saying he had been thinking about her. She accepted the invitation, and they subsequently got together for supper.
While recounting the story, she stated that everything went well at first because they talked, joked, and enjoyed their meal together.

“He called me and said, ‘Princess, I would like to take you out on a date.’ We met, chatted and had dinner. Everything was going fine.”
The lady explained that the scenario changed when she told him she wanted to go because it was becoming late.
According to her, the man insisted on her following him home after the outing and became upset when she refused.
“He said if I wasn’t going home with him, I should refund the food money and the transport fare. I told him if he couldn’t pay for the bill, he should wash plates for the restaurant,” she recounted.
She stated she eventually left the venue and went home, only to be inundated with abusive texts from the man.
The incident has sparked conflicting reactions online, with some social media users backing the lady's position and others arguing that both parties should have discussed their expectations before agreeing to the date.
