2027: This Election Is Just Between Atiku and Tinubu, Obi Is Not There, Obi Is Not Involved - Ayodele

During a prophetic session shared on his Facebook page on Friday, June 12, 2026, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has predicted that the 2027 presidential election in Nigeria will be a contest between President Tinubu and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, dismissing the prospects of NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi playing a significant role in the race.

According to the cleric, the political landscape ahead of the election does not favor Obi, insisting that the contest would ultimately revolve around Tinubu and Atiku. “This election is just between Atiku and Tinubu. Obi is not there. Obi is not involved. No, it's not. There is no Obi in this election,” Ayodele said.

The prophet also cast doubt on the possibility of meaningful electoral reforms before the next general election, stating that he did not foresee any significant changes to the nation's electoral framework. “Electoral reforms, I'm seeing nothing there. But Nigerians will rise up to this election. Electoral reforms and constitutional reforms, they will not work,” he stated.

Ayodele further commented on the prospects of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), expressing pessimism about the party's ability to make a substantial impact on the political scene. “That NDC will not stand. It's a party. They will struggle. I'm seeing nothing from the NDC,” he said.

Beyond politics, the cleric took time to commend businessman Aliko Dangote for what he described as a significant contribution to Nigeria's economic stability and support for the current administration.

Ayodele argued that Dangote's interventions have helped cushion economic pressures and played a key role in preventing a deeper economic crisis. “Dangote needs to be appreciated. He helped this government a lot. If it's not Dangote, Nigeria will have crack economically. Dangote is the savior of this government,” he said.

The cleric further urged Nigerians to recognize and appreciate the industrialist's contributions to the country, noting that his impact extends beyond any individual or political interest. “I think Nigeria is supposed to be praying for him. He has done so well for this government,” Ayodele added.
