Nigeria to Recruit 28,000 Soldiers to Tackle Insecurity


The Chief of Army Staff has announced plans to recruit 28,000 new troops into the Nigerian Army as part of efforts to strengthen the country’s fight against insecurity.

According to the Army Chief, the large-scale recruitment drive is aimed at boosting manpower and enhancing ongoing military operations across various regions facing security challenges, including insurgency, banditry, and kidnapping.
