Veteran Nollywood actress Ireti Doyle has made it clear that her private life is not up for public consumption.
Speaking during an interview on the Morayo Show, the screen icon addressed curiosity surrounding her past marriage and why she chose to remain silent after her divorce.
According to her, not everything deserves public explanation:
“You didn’t hear anything because it was none of your business. The only people you owe any explanation are those close family and friends… this larger audience you are performing for, they do not care.”
Doyle emphasized that healing and personal reflection matter more than public validation, especially after the end of a long-term marriage.
She also made it clear she refuses to turn her pain into entertainment:
“I personally won’t give myself as clickbait. The end of a long-term marriage is painful… use that energy to understand what went wrong so you don’t repeat the same mistakes.”
