The Leader of Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church has issued fresh warnings about Nigeria’s security and political situation, urging authorities to act quickly to prevent worsening conditions in the coming weeks.
Speaking in a recent message, the cleric warned that insecurity could intensify if urgent steps are not taken. He advised security agencies to move beyond routine strategies and adopt decisive actions, particularly against insurgent groups and violent attacks across parts of the country. According to him, the next two weeks are critical, stressing that failure to respond swiftly may lead to serious consequences.
Ayodele also cautioned that schools and public spaces should be protected, noting that there are signals of potential attacks. He urged security chiefs to operate directly in troubled areas rather than relying solely on office-based coordination. The cleric emphasised that restrategizing operations would be essential to tackling the threats effectively.
He further warned that the growing insecurity could influence political outcomes if not addressed, adding that public frustration over safety and economic hardship is increasing. According to him, addressing these issues should be prioritised to avoid wider national challenges.
Highlighting the urgency of his message, Ayodele stated, “When a prophet speaks, people will doubt, but wait and see what will happen to Nigeria in two weeks.” He maintained that his warnings are meant to alert authorities and encourage preventive measures.
The cleric also advised that policy decisions, including security reforms, should be handled carefully to avoid complications. He stressed that improving coordination, intelligence gathering, and rapid response would help reduce threats.
Ayodele concluded by urging leaders to take proactive steps, insisting that timely action could prevent the situation from escalating and help stabilise the country.
