Anambra's Agunechemba security operatives arr3sted Nnewi-based native doctor De Young Chief Priest, aka "Aka Mmuo" (or Aka Mmuo Mmili Afulu Anya / Mmuo Mmiri Afulu Anya), for alleged illegal practices.
He is accvsed of performing ritvals like bathing internet fraudsters ("Yahoo boys") for protection and spiritually supplying fake currency to aid fraud.
After arrest, operatives took him to his river shrine, where he was challenged to invoke the alligator spirit (or "Eze Nwanyi" entity). Despite incantations, nothing appeared, leaving him unable to prove his powers.
His residence was raided, and investigations continue as part of Governor Soludo's crackdown on deceptive or crime-linked spiritual activities.
