Former Nigerian senator Shehu Sani has warned against escalating military tensions in the Middle East, stressing that only a few global powers could withstand the combined military strength of the United States and Israel.
Taking to his verified X page, Sani, who is widely known for his outspoken views on international affairs, explained that Russia, China, Britain, and France are the only nations capable of enduring a week of relentless attacks from Washington and Tel Aviv.
He emphasized that Iran does not pose a direct threat to the United States and cautioned that unilateral military actions outside the United Nations framework could destabilize global peace. According to him, wars often spiral beyond their intended scope, bringing destruction and suffering to ordinary people.
Sani said, "With the exception of Russia, China,Britain and France,arguably there is no nation on Earth in the 21st century that can withstand ONE WEEK of the relentless attacks by the US and Israel.
