South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace told reporters Tuesday she will vote against any new U.S. funding for operations in Iran if it means sending American troops.

Mace has repeatedly stressed opposition to ground forces, backing Trump's airstrikes while insisting the U.S. must avoid another endless war. She slammed Sen. Lindsey Graham for pushing boots-on-the-ground talk, saying he belongs nowhere near the Situation Room.
Critics aren't buying the tough stance. Mace voted against a March war powers resolution that would have forced Trump to wind down operations without fresh congressional approval. She's taken over $100,000 from pro-Israel groups including AIPAC since 2020, fueling accusations she's more "Israel first" than America first.
Replies on X split hard: supporters cheer the restraint, while skeptics call it cheap talk from a politician who talks tough but folds when the lobby calls.
Mace's line is clear for now—no troops, no check. Whether she holds it when the votes come remains to be seen.
