Kwankwasiyya movement directs members to join ADC

The Kwankwasiyya Movement has officially directed its members nationwide to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC), marking a major political shift ahead of future elections.

In a statement released on Saturday, spokesperson Dr. Habibu Sale Mohammed revealed that the movement’s leader, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has concluded plans to align with the ADC as part of a broader coalition effort to unseat President Bola Tinubu.

According to the statement, Kwankwaso is expected to officially register with the party on Monday, March 30, 2026, at his residence in Kano.

Members of the movement have been instructed to immediately register with the ADC across their respective wards, local governments, and states, and to actively participate in party activities.

The leadership described the move as a strategic decision aimed at strengthening democratic values, promoting good governance, and advancing the collective aspirations of Nigerians.

💬 A significant political realignment that could reshape the nation’s opposition landscape.
