Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo Hosts 2026 Iftar Celebration, Supports 1,500 Muslims Across Ondo

The Honourable Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (BTO), hosted a remarkable 2026 Iftar celebration at his residence in Okeagbe Akoko, bringing together Muslim faithful from across the 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State in the spirit of unity, generosity, and community service. 🌙🤝

The gathering provided an opportunity for Muslim brothers and sisters to break their Ramadan fast together while also receiving support to ease the challenges many families face during the holy month of Ramadan.

Speaking at the event, the Minister emphasized the importance of compassion, unity, and giving during Ramadan, noting that the holy month is a time for reflection, charity, and strengthening bonds within the community.
As part of the initiative, 1,500 beneficiaries drawn from the 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State received special Ramadan support packages. Each beneficiary was presented with a 25kg bag of rice, a cash gift of ₦50,000, a copy of the Holy Qur’an, 4kg of semovita, takeaway rice, and refreshments. 🕌🍚

The gesture was widely appreciated by attendees, many of whom expressed gratitude for the Minister’s continued support and commitment to the welfare of the people. Community leaders and Islamic clerics at the event also offered prayers for the Minister, his family, and for peace and progress in the state and the nation.

The 2026 Iftar celebration organized by Hon. Tunji-Ojo further reflects his dedication to promoting unity, supporting religious harmony, and uplifting communities, especially during important spiritual periods like Ramadan.

The event ended with prayers for continued peace, prosperity, and development in Nigeria.
May this noble gesture continue to bring hope and relief to many families.
God bless BTO. 🤲✨
