Hard Work, Family, and Life At Galatasaray, Super Eagles Star Speaks On Hustle

According to a report by Vanguard, on Saturday, March 21, 2026, Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen shared insights into his career, mindset, and bond with Galatasaray during a livestream with social media personality Carter Efe.

Osimhen, currently in Nigeria recovering from a broken arm sustained in Galatasaray’s UEFA Champions League clash with Liverpool, spoke candidly about the work ethic that shaped him.

He revealed that even before football brought him fame, he believed in the power of hard work to secure a future.

“There’s no legitimate work you call me for that I won’t meet you for around five in the morning or four or three. Wake me up, I go hustle,” he said.

“Even if not through football, I will have money like mad. That’s the way I believe in myself.”

Reflecting on his time at Galatasaray, Osimhen described his loan move to the Istanbul-based club as a turning point in his career.

He praised the warmth, professionalism, and support he received from both the club and its fans, contrasting it with experiences at other teams.

“Gala is more than a club for me. We’re meant to cross paths,” he said.
