About 700 Gombe State forest guards have arrived at the Mobile Police Training School in Osun State to begin specialized training aimed at enhancing security, protecting forest reserves, and combating criminal activities.
Forest Guards from Gombe State have arrived Mobile Police Training School in Osun, where they were started training to strengthen security and protect the state's classes.
The youths were sent to the training after crossing a stages of verification held in Gombe, where about 700 people were selected to join the programme.
The training aims to provide expertise and strategy to protect wildlife, eliminate criminal activities, and assist security agencies in ensuring peace in areas and surrounding communities.
Previously, the Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, agreed to spend 337 million Naira to sponsor the training and other needs of the program.
