APC National Chairman Nentawe Visits Kanam, Donates Relief Materials to Affected Communities

APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, visited the Kanam Emirate to show solidarity with residents affected by recent security challenges.

According to a media post by Honourable Samuel Samuel II, Media Aide to the APC National Chairman, the visit took place on Saturday, 21 March 2026.

During the visit, Professor Yilwatda extended condolences to families impacted by the unrest and facilitated the distribution of relief materials to vulnerable households, aiming to provide immediate support to the community.

He also participated in the Hawan Daushe celebration in Dengi, joining the Emir and other traditional leaders in the festivities.

While commending the resilience of the people of Kanam, the APC chairman emphasized the importance of continued efforts toward peace, security, and unity within the Emirate.

Professor Yilwatda further congratulated the community on the successful completion of Ramadan and the Sallah celebrations, noting that such occasions provide an opportunity to strengthen social bonds and collective harmony.

The visit highlighted the APC leadership’s commitment to supporting communities affected by insecurity, while promoting collaboration between political leaders and traditional institutions to foster stability and development in the region.
